H. Lundbeck Presents ScioSphere at FTO conference

Lars Kjerrumgaard, Head of the Patents and Trademarks department, H. Lundbeck, talked about the challenges the company is facing in regards to Freedom To Operate analysis at a presentation at this years FTO conference.

Copenhagen, Denmark (May 29, 2008) - At the FTO conference in Copenhagen on May 27, Lars Kjerrumgaard from Lundbeck made a presentation on "Identifying available targets through Freedom to Operate search to generate new business". 

He talked about how they in Lundbeck the past year has worked on accelerating internal collaboration through new technology tools to speed up search for available targets.

Here they have introduced ScioSphere, which has been an excellent tool in helping identifying available targets and critical patents to innovate their R&D pipeline. They have used ScioSphere to analyze large amounts of text to identify risk assessments to ensure to be able to move the R&D project from phase I to II.
